From the Captain of the
Fleet:
“Bring a
creative dish to the next meeting to share at our Potluck. We use to have these
Potluck feeds almost every other meeting and I really enjoy them because I
really like to eat. So, bring something really good and I’ll thank you.
“One of the last and best cruises of the year is coming up. We get
to use the facilities at White’s Cove maintained by Balboa Yacht Club courtesy
of Craig and Mary Anne Fritzsche. This is always one of the highlights of our
cruising with a volleyball contest, pumpkin carving and, again, a great BBQ
cookout on Saturday night. We pay BYC a slight fee of $25/boat to use their
beautiful facilities and, of course, there is the mooring fee. He will need a
count of the number of expected boats and people. I hope to see you all there.
“There
will be no meeting in November or December. We will have the traditional
Holiday Party on Friday, December 6th, where there is always lots of
good food (do I seem to be on a roll here?). See you at the Potluck with your
favorite dish (I meant food dish).”
Your Fleet Captain, Gene Levinthal
