From the Captain of the Fleet:

“That time is quickly approaching. We are scheduled to re-visit the birthplace of our yachts on this Thursday, May 16th. We will meet at 1600 hours (4:00 PM), tour the factory, and then adjourn to a nearby bistro for food and libation. For those unable to attend the tour, but would like to meet afterwards; the restaurant is a microbrewery and Italian restaurant called BjS. It is about 20 yds South of Victory on the East side of Canoga Ave and we will probably gather at about 1830 hours (6:30 P.M.).

“If you have not been to the factory before, the address is 21200 Victory Blvd. Woodland Hills. The phone number is (818) 884-7700. If you are coming from LA, take the 405 North. to the 101 West (or No.) continue for approx. 9 miles to the Canoga Ave. off ramp. Turn right for approx. 2 miles to Victory Blvd. Turn right on Victory for about 50 yards on the South side of the street and you are there. The suggested restaurant is just around the corner so we can leave our cars there and walk.

“This is in lieu of our regular meeting this month, so please be there. If you meet anyone interested in joining the fleet, bring them along. I know some of you have done this many times, but there is always something new and different to see.”
