John Celick — Newsletter
Editor\Treasurer

From the Captain of the
Fleet:
“As the newly appointed Fleet Captain, I look forward to a fun filled year and hope we can join up on some of the cruises and activities the fleet has to offer. Included in this newsletter is the schedule for the year, and it looks like there is plenty to enjoy.
“Thanks
to Norm Perron, we had a great week end at King Harbor Yacht Club on the 9th
and 10th with about eight boats showing up. Norm setup a computerized DJ music
station at the club Saturday night and everybody (well almost everybody)
danced. Norm made sure the weather was perfect. And somehow, he even eliminated
the usual Redondo surge. What a guy!
“Our next meeting is March 19th, and it's a very special surprise. Bring your Pot Luck dinner and enjoy the festivities. This is the meeting to come to this year!”
Gene Levinthal,
Captain of the Fleet
Thanks to the Members
That Have Paid Promptly - Dues are Due!
42 boats have sent in the dues and we
expect at least 8 more members to re-join. Because of our “Honorary” members
and those that joined late last year (so ’02 dues are waived), we expect that the
fleet will have 56 boats in the roster: 46 Catalina 36’s, 7 Catalina 42’s, and
one each Catalina 350, 400 and Passport 40.
